Sometimes I just don’t see why love is any good for anything. We all have those old scars on our hearts thanks to those old flames we thought were the ones.
The more I ponder on why love hurts, the more I realize it’s not the love that’s scarring us, it’s the people who don’t know how to use it that hurt us. Kind of like the old saying its not the gun that kills people, but the man wielding the gun. I think that’s what it’s like with love. Not too many people really know how to use it. Some people learn, and they live long and happy lives with another who knows how to use it, and others go through heartbreak after heartbreak, marriage after marriage not knowing how to really truly love someone.
You know what? I want to really learn how to properly love someone before I try and use it again. I want to be one of the few who las love, and knows how to use it.
